EastLink Project Wins Australian Construction Achievement Award

The project was constructed by Thiess and John Holland, with the design split between three of Australia's largest consulting engineering firms. Aurecon’s design team was responsible for the northern 6 km section including the twin 1.5 km tunnels, Ringwood Bypass and the complicated Ringwood and Maroondah interchanges.

The $2.5 billion, 39 km tollway is located in Melbourne’s eastern and south-eastern suburbs between the existing Eastern, Monash and Peninsula Freeways.
